Starting in 2017, Sanskriti Farms and Research Center (SFRC) is a research-based, privately run enterprise focusing on knowledge
dissemination and demonstration through intervention projects based on the
Food, Energy, and Water (FEW) Nexus. SFRC works with a pool of like-minded
people and collaborates with national and international organizations, universities,
local government, and farmers, especially youths and women to achieve the
targeted goals. The Farm demonstrates various sustainable and renewable energy
technologies i.e. solar, bio-gas, rainwater harvesting, etc., fruit nursery, and
organic farming. It promotes them amongst the local communities, farmers,
students, and researchers. Furthermore, the center provides the best experience
of the rural homestay and place-based learning initiatives. The farm has
already trained 1000 plus farmers, students, and local communities for organic
farming, tree plantation, rainwater harvesting, homestay management, etc.

Future
Prospects:

●  To
promote agro-tourism (Homestay & Farmstay), and fill the gap between local
farming communities, academia and technology promoters through demonstration of
several renewable energy technologies, organic agriculture practices, and other
sustainable practices.

initiatives and research activities
