HESPL is a social enterprise providing assisted tech services for doorstep delivery of welfare entitlements for underprivileged and marginalized communities. More than 800 million Indian citizens are eligible for some form of welfare services including social security, direct cash benefits and documentation services with a Government budget of US$210 billion annually. However, citizens particularly rural citizens, tribals, daily wage earners, marginal farmers, unorganized workers are hardly aware of these welfare entitlements or find it difficult to consume publicly available complicated, confusing information. As a result, there is massive under utilization of funds in India. Haqdarshak Empowerment Solutions is trying to solve for this information gap and access to last mile support through our tech-enabled intervention while also providing employment to the local women of the communities who act as our field agents.
